Lead Safe Work Practices is the law and applies to anyone doing remodeling, repairs and/or painting in structures which are pre 1978. The young are the most vulnerable.
Lead RRP is now being enforced by the State of Alabama Dept. of Public Health. All General Contractors, Electrical Contractors, HVAC Contractors, Plumbing Contractors, Painters, Renovators, Remodelers, etc. Anyone who disturbs Lead Paint must now be trained, certified and use safe work practices in order to avoid heavy fines and project shutdown, beginning January 1, 2011. Get Certified and avoid job loss and fines.
