Mr. Scott Mionos, senior Policy and communications Specialist for the U.S. Department of  Energy the featured speaker for “Energy Efficiency Realized” an all-day seminar held at Clark Atlanta University on January 25, 2012.  The event featured several speakers focused on energy efficiency,  and renewable energy.   In addition to Mr. Minos, other featured speakers included Mr. Mr. Tim Gilbert of HESM&A-Consulting Engineers specializing in Energy Efficiency Engineering, Sol Haroom, chief engineer for Suniva Solar (solar photovoltaics), Ms. Deborah Purcell, VP Marketing for Power Partners Solar (solar thermal), Anita Anand, J.D., of The Reznick Group (Leading Business Advisory Firm with specialized areas of practice in Renewable Energy and Tax Credits),  Mr. Greg Liddick of Georgia Power (energy efficiency program),  John Bracey, Southface Institute, (energy effiiency) and Dr. Olu Olatidoye – Director of the Center for Alternative and Renewable Energy Technoloy and Training at Clark Atlanta University.  The event drew stakeholders such as project developers, property managers, building owners, consulting engineers, contractors, students and others.
